We had the pleasure of working with NEXTODI late last year to help develop a more sophistocated means of backing of large amounts of camera data generated by the new memory card reading cameras.

The result is the Video Storage PRO NVS2500

Backing up data from EX3 or P2 cant get much easier than this system. Whilst the p2 data transfer rate is a tad limited to the speed of the p2 architecture. The Sony EX transfer rates are BLISTERINGLY fast.

We have achived results down around 3 minutes for 16 gigs of transfer. This is because the SXS technolgy is actually that fast and NEXTO are not compormising this transfer rate in any way.

Panasonic - shoots down around 900 and does a wild upconvert

JVC - just does not do it yet - stuck in 720P land

Sony EX series HD Cameras shoot TRUE 1920 full resolution.

The Ex's shoot stunning clean images as true ... Read More »
